2nd August.
Offshore winds blowing… hard. Surf small. Sunny, but the breeze chilling the air temp. This was the scene for day 1 of the Lennox Longboard Classic 2014.
Lennox, a great little town, awesome vibe, and cool locals. Also a bustling little center and this day more-so as we congregated at the beach. Nice carnival feel and happy competitors getting ready, unfortunately, at the time we were there the surf was a tad sloppy. If only the surf could have given just a bit more, just a little bit… oh well, it was a good time just hanging out down there anyway and being part of it, fun was had by all, especially the cute little 3 year old who ran off with my camera snapping shots like pro.
