Today signals the day when life savers bring back out the flags for the Spring/Summer break and what a day to begin with. 8am till 5pm is the watch of the life savers, so please take care and swim only between the flags… apparently there hasn’t been one drowning death for anyone swimming in the flagged area on the Gold Coast, makes sense to obey the rules for all you swimmers.
Not much doing for the surfers with only 1-2 ft but a great day to get down to the water for the start of the school holidays and teach the kids. Mid week looks like a bit of swell will hopefully come our way.
