Who didn’t snag a wave over the weekend?
The surf pumped, maybe a little too much as it was un-surfable on the open beaches, but the points were crankin’. Obviously it was crowded, and it was for the experienced surfers only but damn it was good stuff. We hit Duranbah on Saturday morning, it was a little messy around high tide but as the morning rolled on so did the waves, and they cleaned up a little as the day wore on.
Strange really, it was relatively quiet on the water at Dbar for the most part and very quiet on the sand but the crowd started building around 9 ish. Below are some of the highlights from the morning session.
