Not much doing at Narrowneck…Onshore and messy. Nobody out here surfing today, not many people out at all actually! Just a crew doing some early Morning sprints, and a good thing to do to I suppose before tackling the office. Maybe we should have headed South, down Duranbah way, it would probably be looking a lot more enticing for a wave, as the sign shows, Duranbah is 30kms away.

Our beaches are Beautiful, so do as the sign says. Share, respect and preserve, now and forever.
Today looks like it will be a day very similar to yesterday, overcast and showery, with some glimpses of the Sun. Temperature is quite Moderate and nice for a walk but the surf is not really much chop (at the moment anyways)… counted all of two surfers out this Morning at the Point and they weren’t having much luck with the waves.
Hopefully things clean up over the next day or two.

Morning, I thought there might have been a little more in the way of a wave this Morning. While the sets coming through were in the 2-3ft mark they just seemed a little full and weak. Maybe they will present better at the 10 o’clock high tide.
The clouds were quite ominous and in the distance you could see rain falling over the horizon from these clouds, however the sun, trying to push through, was as always, quite beautiful… Had to take a few pics of this as below.
Have a good day.

Thought we would venture up the Northern end of the Goldie this Morning. 14 degrees at about 6am, pretty good temp considering winter is only moments away.
The weekend obviously brought the Coast some large swell with a fair bit of pounding along the beaches causing more scarping. You can see in the below pic a fair bit of debris washed up here at the Spit so be careful once again.
There are a few waves rolling in but it is looking very messy at the moment. We are expecting some more southerlies to blow this way later today so you are best off doing the paddle over the Seaway or hitting the southern points.

For those able to be up early enough, you would be feeling one with Mother Nature as she puts on some spectacular Mornings. Not much surf but a little fun one wave will roll on through if you are patient enough, best thing is just sitting out back in the clean clear water and watching that Sun light the sky.
Surf to pick up for the weekend, have a great day.
