6:33 am – Beach sprinters putting in the hard ones early

Not much doing at Narrowneck…Onshore and messy. Nobody out here surfing today, not many people out at all actually! Just a crew doing some early Morning sprints, and a good thing to do to I suppose before tackling the office. Maybe we should have headed South, down Duranbah way, it would probably be looking a lot more enticing for a wave, as the sign shows, Duranbah is 30kms away.

6:35 am – A little rain in the distance

6:36 am – Under Tower 38

6:38 am – 5.7 kms to the Seaway.. almost 30 kms to Point Danger and Dbah… where there is probably a decent wave happening

Scarping Paradise

Narrowneck this Morning was not holding up too well. Scarping occurring all along the beachfront, debris all over, piles of Blue Bottles and the surf was just an absolute mess, as to be expected. Scarping means to cut or erode (a slope or hillside) so that it becomes steep, perpendicular, or precipitous (Googled). With this low we have passing over the coast, we are expecting some more rain today, but tomorrow we can expect alot more as the second part of the system passes by.
