Our beaches are Beautiful, so do as the sign says. Share, respect and preserve, now and forever.
Today looks like it will be a day very similar to yesterday, overcast and showery, with some glimpses of the Sun. Temperature is quite Moderate and nice for a walk but the surf is not really much chop (at the moment anyways)… counted all of two surfers out this Morning at the Point and they weren’t having much luck with the waves.
Hopefully things clean up over the next day or two.

Morning, I thought there might have been a little more in the way of a wave this Morning. While the sets coming through were in the 2-3ft mark they just seemed a little full and weak. Maybe they will present better at the 10 o’clock high tide.
The clouds were quite ominous and in the distance you could see rain falling over the horizon from these clouds, however the sun, trying to push through, was as always, quite beautiful… Had to take a few pics of this as below.
Have a good day.

Another glorious Morning!
What better way to spend it than grabbing the old guitar and strumming some tunes as the Sun rises for the day. I’m sure the crowd of seagulls are there for the music as well.
The surf was on par, some good fun waves and light winds made the Morning surf ok… oh and the Sun, a continuation of the last week or so of just the most glorious weather. All’s good on the Gold Coast.

Some photos taken from 3rd Ave Burleigh.
Not much happening at the moment, surf is small 1-2 ft but every now and again a rogue wave of about 2 1/2 ft will roll on through…. look out if you find yourself caught in the impact zone.

The weekend had Northerly winds and average surf for the most part. Some sets rolled through every now and again that offered up a ride but it was not a weekend to write home about. Moving forward, we have a week of similar conditions, however the wind will slowly shift to the East then come weekend, the all important Easter Long Weekend… well at this point, who knows??? Just hope you guys all have a good one.
Below are some shots from Burleigh on over the weekend.

Good Morning,
Welcome to another overcast day. More rain expected today believe it or not. There may even be rain for the next week or more, not sure how many days in a row that gives us but it is a plenty alright. Gotta hand it to the lifesavers though, always present, ever watchful.
Surf is not too bad though, big and messy at Burleigh but there are definitely some rideable waves out. These shots were taken early, in the rain, and before there was any real light about but overall, it was not too bad out.

Sometimes when you least expected, a loving gesture, or a moment of faith snaps you into reality and you realise the world has wonderful people in it. Along Burliegh you will find wrapped around a tree, a beautiful message of love, it’s really quite personal and it really sinks in. There are photos attached to the message but best you have a look for yourself.
Surf wise, it’s a little messy still, some people out but it’s really only if you are desperate.
