Went over to Snapper Rocks this Morning, a glorious morning on the Gold Coast. No wind, sunny, and remnants of the big swell still hanging around the 4-5 ft mark.
There were a few surfers out, but not as many around as I thought there would be and you still need to be a decent paddler to handle all the water moving around. Looks like tomorrow will be the pick of the weekend, the only issue will be getting to the beach due to the GC marathon. If you don’t live by the beach between Southport and the Airport then you are going to find it hard getting out there with all the diversions.

Wonder if we will have a day like yesterday?
It poured down over night, then poured again this morning. All forecasts called for rain for the rest of the week but as it turned out we were suprised by the weather change. Clear blue skies giving welcome relief from the foul weather and brightening up the day for many. Hope you were able to enjoy it, and fingers crossed it stays clear for a little while longer.
Below are some shots of Duranbah.
